Ecology

Ecologically safe production is one of the most important strategic tasks of “Kazphosphate” LLC. At present the program to reduce pollutant emissions is under elaboration. The program is providing the following measures:

1. Reduction of environment pollution;
2. Ensuring of optimum level of ecological safety;
3. Development of production ecological monitoring and control;

The main tools to reach the targets and to settle tasks are:

• improvement of production monitoring system after environment;
• scientific support of separate issues in environment protection sphere;
• reduction of man's impact bringing to pollution of industrial environment;
• reduction of accumulated industrial and domestic wastes;
• prevention of man-caused and natural emergency situations;
• increase of effectiveness in control of environment;
• coordination with state controlling organs;
• information interchange between “Kazphosphate” LLC and state environment protection offices;
• use of mass-media to cover the execution of program in the press, on TV and radio in order to form up the system of community opinions.

Labour safety

“Kazphosphate” LLC pays special attention to the questions of labour protection and industial safety. The target of the company is to bring to conformity the labour conditions at the its enterprises with safety requirements and international standards. At present the issue of the day is to prevent the industrial injuries, early identification of dangers and risks at working places.

The basic directions of labour safety activity are:

• Creation of safe and healthy conditions at every working place, prevention of industrial injuries and diseases, elaboration and execution of measures to bar industrial injuries. The complex of social-economic, organizational-technical, treatment-prophylactic arrangements is implemented at company’s branches to fulfill these tasks.

The main objectives are:

• Certification of the primary technological equipment for timely control over its safe operation.
• Qualitative vocational training and retraining of employees.
• Labour safety training (lectures and seminars before annual check of labour protection knowledge).
• Elaboration on technological documentation in compliance with acting standards and standard-technical documentation.
• Certification of production objects to define labour conditions and safety of working places.
• Elaboration on and execution of “Complex plan of occupational diseases reduction”, coordinated with Oblast sanitary epidemiologic office.

The works on the indicated priority directions is conducted to apply the standards of ISO 9000, 14000, 18000 at “Kazphosphate” LLC.

Social Responsibility

The social responsibility of the Company vis-à-vis community, including the successful production activity, securing of worthy labour conditions, concern for employees and their families, interaction with oblast population. “Kazphosphate” LLC aspires not only to provide the deserved living standard of its employees, but to assist the social-economic development of the region.

Kazphosphate Limited Liability Company has been established on October 27, 1999.

“Kazphosphate” LLC’s principal place of business and operations is concentrated in Zhambyl Oblast, operational running of the branches and their performance monitoring is made from Taraz office (126, Abay Street).

The Company includes the following branches:

The main activities of the Company are exploration works, mining and processing of phosphate rock, production and sales of yellow phosphorus and its derivatives, phosphate fertilizers and fodder phosphates, output of mineral raw material for industrial products.

"Kazphosphate" LLC represents the phosphorus industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, being a leading company involved in phosphorus-containing production on the territory of CIS countries.

"Kazphosphate" LLC products are delivered to the markets of Eastern & Western Europe, CIS countries, China and to home market.

The Company activity is aimed at solution of priority tasks on development of Kazakhstani chemical industry, world markets entry with qualitative competitive products, creation of image of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of the high-tech products supplier in the result of high level processing of raw materials.
