Mining Processing Complex “Chulaktau” is a mining complex on extraction and processing of phosphate rock.

Today Chulaktau extracts phosphate materials at three mines, which are located in Talas region of Zhambyl region. These are the mines of Sholaktau, Aksai and Shieli-Bulak, which have extraction and primary ore beneficiation complexes, road transport and railway shops, repair-mechanical and repair-construction subdivisions. In parallel extraction of common minerals (lime-stone and dolomite for glass industry is performed.



Kazphosphate LLC’s affiliate Chulaktau was created on the base of Karatau phosphate rock basin.It is the major supplier of raw materials for the production of yellow phosphorus and mineral fertilizers in Kazakhstan and Central Asia as well as for phosphoric industry of Kazakhstan; that determined the market of raw materials and its eventual consumers.

Optimal scheme of crushing of phosphate rock was implemented at the affiliate at Molodezhnyi mine being as closed cycle of crushing and sorting site. This reduces volume of transportation, excavation and bulldozer services; Sholaktau boiling industrial site was transferred from liquid to a more economical and environmentally friendly fuel – natural gas.






Structure of Chulaktau includes many subdivisions:

  •  Crushing and sorting shop;
  •  Transportation shop;
  •  Power supply building;
  •  Mechanical repair shop;
  •  Repair and construction shop;
  • Technical and control shop;
  •  Purchasing department;
  •  Shop of Internal control regime;

All this subdivisions are interconnected, working cooperatively and harmoniously.
